Jaipur's real estate and urban development ecosystem runs on information that's scattered, delayed, or simply hard to find. Land allotments get announced quietly. Infrastructure updates surface as rumors before they're confirmed. Zoning and policy decisions that affect thousands of property owners and businesses often reach the public only after the fact — through word of mouth, if at all.

I've seen this firsthand. I recently developed Mayfair, a commercial building on a 200-ft Sector Road in Jaipur's Mansarovar Extension belt — a ground-up glass-fronted tower with retail and banking space on the ground floor and office floors above. Getting a project like that through Jaipur's development process meant working directly with JDA's approvals, sanctioned land use, and zoning classifications — and with the gaps in how that information actually reaches the people building in this city.

That process made one thing clear: Jaipur's real estate market is far more unorganized than it should be, and JDA — the authority shaping nearly every major land, infrastructure, and zoning decision in the city — doesn't make it easy to stay informed. Updates are fragmented across press releases, local news coverage, and word of mouth, with no single reliable place to track what's actually happening.

JDA Weekly is an attempt to close that gap, one week at a time. Each issue tracks what JDA did, announced, or was involved in — new schemes and land allotments, infrastructure and construction updates, policy and governance changes, and anything else materially affecting how Jaipur is built — pulled from official sources and local reporting, with citations, so you can verify everything yourself.

This isn't affiliated with JDA. It's an independent effort, started because the information gap is real, and anyone building in this city deserves to see it closed.
